About

Jules Chéret was a French painter and lithographer who turned into an expert on Belle Époque artistry. He was known as the dad of the modern poster. Like most other youngster artisans, Chéret considered different specialists' strategies, over a significant period, by visiting Paris galleries. From 1859 to 1866, he was prepared in lithography in London, England, where he was firmly affected by the British way to deal with poster design and printing.
